BUT SOME VERY WELL STUDIED MARKETING TACTICS + PERFECT EXECUTION.  

HERE WAS OUR CHALLENGE;

It was not an easy one, we walked into a ‘potential’ client, a client who had burnt his hands with previous efforts that turned futile. We were slapped with 500+ leads to be achieved within 14 days and just one day of preparation or a money-back guarantee.

Challenge was accepted – what was the catch for us? If we achieved the target, the client signs us up on a retainer. Now, as hard as it seems, we were able to pull this feat off with a very tactical strategy in place. Here’s how we rolled it out.

GETTING PREPARED – A SNEAK AT HOW WE DID IT.

PART 1

SETTING IT UP FOR BIG LAUNCH.

We assembled our team, who were, in fact, good with their skills – but that’s just not it, we had to tick something off to create these magical results in 14 days. Before coming to how we put together a brilliant strategy – there’s just one thing we need to discuss before that – and that is understanding or gauging exactly the exact ‘Target Group’. Who do you reach? Where do you reach? How do you reach? And how much do you need? These were some very critical questions we couldn’t play around with because we didn’t have a ‘test’ period it was just a ‘results’ period, so the margin of error was very thin.

Getting the creatives – and adhering to all regulations of major social sites isn’t an easy thing when you need to communicate to your audience the most amount of information, in the least amount of time and without getting them rejected! It takes some out-of-the-box thinking to do so. Within 12 hours – the ads were up, and they were rolling within 12 hours.

GETTING OUR THINKING HATS ON.

How did we go about it? This would mean you sum up the Target Group in their minds and break this down further so we could feed this into digital channels. HERE’S THE SECRET WE WANT YOU TO HAVE – we broke down the Target Group into an umbrella of clusters, by understanding the core product of our customer and analyzing the ‘Push’ and ‘Pull’ of the purchase decision. We also got ourselves thinking about how a customer would respond to an ad which by all means wasn’t selling an Over The Counter product – but had a considerable investment – so grew in our minds this secret recipe of how to bring together good copy + creatives + Target Group identification + budget + buyer cycle optimization.  We also put a lot of thought into the buyer cycle – from the moment of awareness up until the point of sales what goes in between is a lot to do about marketing – so we made sure that the first impression made a great deal of convincing.

PART 3

BOOOOOOM – AND WE HIT 3X THE TARGET IN UNDER THE BUDGET AND DEADLINE JUST LIKE THAT!

We achieved the target and 3X times more in under the specified time and budget to the much satisfaction and dissatisfaction (since now they had to sign the retainer) to our client. It was an enormous feat and was just the icing on the cake when we walked back in and were asked to sign the retainer contract. Phew, marketing is a bold game, and we do just that.
